The Portuguese Society of Chinese Medicine – SPMC is a professional, non-profit association, founded in 2015. This society is born out of the need to unite Chinese Medicine Specialists, regardless of their educational background, at a time when the profession was regulated, it is extremely important that everyone’s voice unites so that it can be heard with the competent entities in the field, to implement the law in practice and establish order in the TCM sector.

Our main goals are: Promote the development of knowledge in the areas of TCM. Stimulating research, promoting closer scientific relationships between TCM Specialists and other health professionals Cooperate and regulate the organization of educational activities related to these objectives. It is based on the design of transparency where all members have the duty and the right to express their opinion and to be actively involved in all SPMC actions, both in the legislative sphere in the defense of the profession and in the promotion, development and implementation of scientific research.
