From the President
At the heart of our organization lies the belief that we are stronger together. We provide a forum where individual TCM organizations from all over Europe can come together to learn from and with each other – a notion that is all the more important at a time when we are increasingly physically separated from each other.
With this in mind we have initiated a variety of new initiatives aimed at nourishing our community of TCM associations. We created a Research Task Force and Team of Editors. These groups bring together a range of talented people from all over Europe and a space for ideas to be nurtured, discussed and turned into action.
We established a series of Leadership Webinars with the aim of providing our Leaders with the tools they need to propel their organizations forward. Topics included the political landscape of the EU – of vital importance if we are to connect on a political level and promote our voice of healing. Another online event shone a light on TCM research – an essential aspect of integrating with conventional medicine. We have planned a whole year of Leadership webinars for 2022 and sincerely hope that you will take advantage of them – you will sharpen your skills, build productive relationships with peers and be inspired by the possibilities that are unfolding…
In the coming years we will continue to build on our collective strong foundations, and to improve and strengthen the alliances with the US, Australia and Europe – we are working on an exciting One Voice policy. We continue our drive to improve educational, safe practice and professional standards with our Three Pillar Policy. You’ll find out more about these projects over the course of 2022 which is incidentally the 20th Birthday of our organization! To celebrate we have a new website, logo and a number of other exciting plans. We welcome you to explore our new website, including our new members only area for our Member Associations to gain access to resources and tools and update their association profiles.
As ever all of our new initiatives depend on you – our members – being engaged with us and each other. We can only move forward as a community if we engage more and pull together in a shared direction.
It is my hope that you will accept this message as an open invitation to get involved
Yair Maimon
President
