The TCM Kongress Rothenburg 2026 returns for its 57th edition, taking place 12–15 May 2026 in Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
Recognised as one of Europe’s leading events in Traditional Chinese Medicine, the congress will once again be hosted at the Wildbad Conference Center, bringing together clinicians, researchers, and educators from across disciplines.
The 2026 theme, “Cycles of Life – Gender-Specific Patterns of Disease and Pain,” reflects a timely and clinically relevant focus, exploring how biological sex and life-stage dynamics influence pathology and therapeutic strategies within TCM frameworks.
Participants can expect a comprehensive programme that includes:
A wide selection of advanced courses and expert-led lectures
Hands-on workshops with practical clinical applications
Research-focused sessions, including the TCM Research Day
Opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration
The congress also invites scientific poster submissions, offering a platform for researchers to present emerging evidence and contribute to the evolving scientific discourse in TCM.
In parallel, the AGTCM Research Award will be presented for the first time, recognising high-quality research that advances clinical practice in the field.
This event continues to serve as a key meeting point for those committed to integrating traditional knowledge with modern scientific approaches.
